What is CDC? CDC is stand for Career Development Center. This is a club under HEP in University Utara Malaysia. I have joined this club since I'm in semester 1. There are many activities and programs that have been done by this club. The relationship between seniors and juniors in this club are very close. We are just like a one big family. We respect each others and always give full cooperation and commitment in conducting any programs under CDC. At the end of this month, which is on 25-27 November, we will organize Career Fair at DTSO. Therefore, as a preparation for this program, we have to invite the companies around Malaysia to participate in this event and provide sponsorship to the event.
During this semester break, I and my CDC peers went directly to the companies that near to our hometown to invite them to join the career fair. Last Wednesday, Ros, Faridz, Nasrah, Syifaa, Zaty and I went to the companies that around the Penang Island. Mostly we went to the hotels around Batu Feringhi. We went directly to the hotels and asking for meet their human resource manager to deal with them about participation in career fair and also about sponsorship that if they can supply. Unfortunately, many of the HR manager are not over there. We just have opportunity to talk with their assistant or the person in charge on that day. But anyhow, this is my first time and it is such a very valuable experience for me, which I need to talk directly to the organization.
